Agontuk Technologies ("we", "our", "us") operates the Premium Resume Scanner web application. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.
By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.
Information you provide directly:
- Account details — email address and password (hashed)
- Resume files — PDFs, DOCX, or plain text uploaded for analysis
- Job descriptions you paste for matching analysis
Information collected automatically:
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Pages visited and features used within the app
- Session timestamps and usage duration
- Anonymous usage analytics via session fingerprint
Note We do not collect payment card details directly — all payments are processed by our PCI-compliant payment partner.
- To analyse your resume and generate ATS scores and AI improvement suggestions
- To maintain your scan history and allow comparison between scans
- To authenticate your account and keep sessions secure
- To improve our AI models and product features (aggregated, anonymised)
- To send important service-related notifications (no marketing without consent)
- To comply with legal obligations
We use Advanced AI to power resume analysis. Uploaded resume content is transmitted to the Advanced AI API for processing and is not stored by the AI beyond the API call lifetime.
- Uploaded resume files are stored for analysis and deleted from our servers within 30 days of upload unless you have an active account
- Account data is retained as long as your account is active
- Scan history is retained for 12 months for free accounts and indefinitely for Pro accounts
- You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below)
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Bcrypt password hashing — we never store plaintext passwords
- JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens
- Role-based access controls and server-side validation

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
