Terms of Service

By accessing or using Premium Resume Scanner (the "Service") operated by Agontuk Technologies ("Company", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

Premium Resume Scanner provides AI-powered resume analysis tools including:

• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility scoring
• Keyword gap analysis and suggestions
• AI-generated resume summary improvements
• Grammar and weak-phrase detection
• Resume builder and template tools
• Scan history and comparison features

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at [email protected]
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

You agree not to:

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service in a manner that places unreasonable load on our servers
• Upload content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
• Use the Service to process data on behalf of third parties without their consent
• Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or subscription restrictions

You retain full ownership of the resume files and text you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to provide the Service.

• We do not claim any ownership rights over your resume or personal information
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content
• We may use anonymised, aggregated data (never identifiable content) to improve our AI models

The Service, including its design, code, branding, AI models, and generated analysis reports, is owned by Agontuk Technologies and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission
• The AI-generated suggestions provided to you are for your personal use only
• "Premium Resume Scanner" and "Agontuk Technologies" are trademarks of Agontuk Technologies

• Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at checkout
• All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis — contact [email protected] within 7 days of charge
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• AI-generated analysis may contain errors and should not be relied on as professional career advice
• ATS scores are estimates and actual ATS results vary by employer system

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Agontuk Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
• Any third-party conduct or content

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 500, whichever is greater.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You breach any provision of these Terms
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where possible)

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through account settings or contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of West Bengal, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
